I know that in terms of everyone's motivation, Joshua is the primary piece of wood that lights up the flame for James and Marina in terms of revenge and rebellion. When in actuality, Joshua in his 2 episode appearances doesn't seem as developed as he should be. Which makes him an extreme liability for those who want to be a fan of his; It just isn't right to me.
For Peter as well it goes as the same! Joshua kills Peter just for Peters motivation to directly fight side by side with James to take on Joshua. I'm making a critical mistake here...That mistake actually being Joshua as a whole and how he was presented.
In terms of villains, Joshua has constantly referred to Scorpin/Scorpion so that could mean there is someone who is greater than he who runs the Droid Empire besides him. I can't help but to feel that his death wasn't as grand as it was supposed to be. He clearly knew what he was up against when he confronted the rebels two to one.
While we know he killed Ryan and Marinas father, he mentioned something about James' dad briefly before his death...He had a lot going for him but his ultimate demise would've been prevented. I'd say plot demanded he lose but...I feel like I'm missing something here.
